Father: Arthur's Father affected him by keeping him in the house and making him anti-social. The legend was that he was cutting papers for his scrapbook and he stabbed his father in the leg and returned to cutting the paper like nothing happened. He was taken to a courthouse and was locked up for a month, then his father said he would take care of everything, and kept him inside of the house. Afterwards, he didn’t come out of the house during the day because his father kept him inside, and prevented him from communicating with people. Because he didn’t go out during the day and also didn’t talk to anyone, he became mysterious to everyone.
Jim Gilmore/King Arthur Comparison The modern politician that I see as closest to Arthur is Jim Gilmore. I think this because he sees what is right in our modern world. King Arthur Text-to-Text Connection The Once and Future King by T.H. White is a Legend authored by T.H. White. It’s counterpart, Le Morte D’Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory, is another version of the Legend, but written in a more old fashioned way. There is a strong distinguishable resemblance between the stories. Both legends revolve around King Arthur and how he came to be.
Le Morte D’ Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory is the definitive source for many of the modern works concerning The Arthurian legend. Stories but translated them from the French and then added the English flavor to the stories. In Malory’s version of Arthur’s Death emphasis was placed on character of mordred, the illegitimate son of Arthur and his sister. Mordred had sent letters advising that Arthur had been murdered.
King Arthur is one of the best kings that has ruled over Britain, throughout all of history. Arthur ruled with honor, loyalty, and chivalry, which made him a great king. Many lessons that he learned on his journeys helped him to become the person that he is. Arthur’s journey becoming king can be seen in the novel The Sword in the Stone by T.H. With excavations and the unearthing of some truths, historians may have just enough evidence to prove King Arthur and Excalibur were real.
