Some may believe Mercutio is the one to blame for the deaths of the young lovers. They believe that because Mercutio’s death led to Romeo’s banishment from the city, and the fact that Mercutio was unaware of the fact that their master, Romeo, was recently married to Juliet.

The different family’s feud is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The feud forced the lovers to hide their love from their parents, this made them enact desperate actions just to be able to see the other one. The feud caused the two families to fight, which led to Mercutio’s death, which, in the end, got Romeo exiled. The feud also got the two killed by not allowing the two families to discuss their issues civilly, this had Romeo exiled causing him to get the news that Juliet died instead of what he was supposed to hear.
