In Romeo and Juliet, we are shown how their love for one another led to impulsive decisions, causing an ultimate end for the star-crossed lovers. Love has this destructive power that can cloud people’s judgment and drive people to act irrationally, which is still relevant today. Despite the social and cultural changes since the play first came out, nothing has been able to stop the emotions one feels for another.
