Unlike sociology it doesn’t exploit the scientific method of research. The information gathered from common sense is never usually seriously questioned. Information gathered by using common sense remains to be taken for granted, therefore seems to be sensitive to all reasonable people. A few appropriate examples to explain how it is taken for granted can be like when my godson touched the stove once when told not to, consequently received a burn. Off of that personal experience, he learned not to touch the stove again as a result of the afflicted burns. Another example of this is a Palestinian and an Israeli working together.
