The hero’s journey is a journey of a lifetime. The journey of no other of a takes place in a time where a problem has occurred. The allegory of the cave is a mental disturbance recorded by Plato. The cave is described to distract the well-being of the person and their mental capability. The allegory of the cave is propaganda. The story,
“Uglies,” by Scott Westerfield has a tone of a young women named Tally Youngblood who is trying desperately to find her place in the dystopian society. Tally Youngblood life has been cut into two pieces. The society has ordered people into a Ugly or a Pretty. The normal life of a human being has been slated. Tally hears out what Shay says. Feeling like the surgery isn’t what its meant to be, Tally soon quickly goes back to wanting to be a Pretty. Yet, on Tally sixteen birthdays, she figures out that Shay has ran away to the city of
Smoke. Shay leaves behind a code to help Tally reach the city. Yet, Tally now faces her mentor for the surgery. Dr. Cable. Yet while meeting her mentor, Dr.
Cable instructs Tally to find Shay and Smoke or she will not have the surgery.
Upon the arrival to Smoke, Tally finds Shay and David. Yet, pulling Shay away,
David confesses his love too Tally. Being unfamiliar with the area she has been placed in, Tally tracker alerts Dr. Cable and the Special Circumstances. Escaping from Dr. Cable, Tally finds a cave to stay. Her next Journey starts off as she

I still continue the next and more chapters of my journey as I progress more and more into everyday life.
Seeing my own hero’s jounery into the Allegory of the Cave has really made me think of the past cave I was stuck in. I noticed I was stuck inside a cave where my life would be changed. Living in two homes and not seeing both my parents really damaged my feelings. I knew my life had been the best it was and only thought that life could only get better from here. The cave darkened my frustrating towards everything I did. I was angry in school and at home. I became somebody I wasn’t. I dwelled in the dark and shadowiness of the cave I spent my younger age in. My caves I suffered was not seeing what having both parents be divorced really does. The best part was seeing both my parents being happy. They say divorce can and will hurt kids and them growing into adults. But, divorce can help two people become happier and live a much better life. As I became older the cave images of a dark life soon were wearing off. I was now seeing what my life was really meant to be. I have gained knowledge of caves and the Allegory of
