Islam Research The religion of Islam came about during the seventh century. Islam is one of the biggest and oldest religions out there. Muslims however believe that it did not start with Muhammad. Muslims also believe that it was the original faith of others who are prophets like Jesus, David and many more. It is believed to be originated in Mecca and Medina. Allah is god and Muhammad is his prophet. In Luke 4:8 it says: “And Jesus answered and said unto him, get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” I picked this quote because it says and him only shalt thou serve. This obviously states that man should only being serving one god and that is God our Savior and not some made up god named Allah who supposedly has powers like our God. Overall Christianity is very different from Islam in almost all categories with beliefs and with their gods and also how they go about it their
