How did music begin and who started it in the Islamic Empire?A key figure of starting the musical entertainment was Ziryab. Ziryab was from Baghdad and was a talented musician and singer. He then put together Europe 's first music school. People from all over ( Asia and Africa) came to be taught by the great Ziryab. After that the got hired to be entertainers at royal courts all over the world. This information is significant because it answers my question. Also because it states that this is how music got strat and how founded it. It also states that after they got taught, they got hired to be entertainers. They just didn 't throw away what they had, they put it to good use. After they were done being taught, they could take that background and pick up an instrument and maybe learn it in less time than if you didn 't have a background of music.
