Some of these theories have been developed by very well known psychologists such as Carl Rogers, B.F Skinner, Bandura, and Raymond Cattell. Although, some theories have changed over time there are others we still apply today. Carl Rogers was a humanistic psychologist. He was non directed, client centered, and person centered.
That little orphan boy, that one family member who made an unforgivable mistake, or even that shy girl who sits in the corner of the room all endure isolation; although all of the situations vary, the people affected suffer the same harsh effects of isolation. Isolation does not only affect a person’s feelings it affects their view on the world, society and their interpretations of illusion and reality. Everyone has self-confidence, many people gain self-confidence from various things as well as lost confidence from various things. For many characters, isolation over time has changed their self-confidence. Sometimes isolation causes a character to be more self-confident over time, while other characters may lose self-confidence after prolonged periods of isolation. Characters in the stories Into the Wild, “The Most Dangerous Game”, and Lord of the Flies all experienced changes in their self-confidence.
Throughout the world people are put to the test through isolation. On one hand some people learn how to cope with the darkness of solitude and on the other hand it puts the world in a whole new perspective for others both in and out of solitude. Isolation is a state of being where you are set apart from anything that has to do with society. While one is in this state for along period of time you start to lack intellectually compared to the people in society who are exposed to everything. Three texts that support and go along with this subject of isolation are Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Consolation of Philosophy by Boethius, and Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
Isolation is defined as the separation from others whether it is physically or emotionally. It can also be a choice or it can be imposed upon you. A lot of people in the world feel isolated because of their emotions. They could be holding a secret, or guilt. People can also feel physically isolated because they are alienated whether it be from their appearance, social status, or some action that caused them to be a plague to society.
Emotional and physical isolation in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein are the most pertinent and prevailing themes throughout the novel. These themes are so important because everything the monster, Victor, and Robert Walton do or feel directly relates to their poignant seclusion. The Effect of Social Isolation in Frankenstein Frankenstein, a novel approximately over two hundred years old, has a pattern of consistent themes regarding mental health and loneliness. The societal value of appearance can lead to a person's isolation. The monster's experiences of rejection by society are due to his unappealing appearance. This helps to show that people have a constant need to be accepted.
Mary Shelley's novel dives into the action of Victor Frankenstein, an up-and-coming scientist that embarks on a journey to create life. Victor goes through trials and tribulations as he goes into isolation to create a monster. The monster will also go through trials and isolation as it will be reintroduced to a world that becomes cruel to him. Throughout the story, Shelley will express what isolation can do to a person's soul and life. It can destroy a person's relationship and bring harm to lots of people.

Similarly, this can be connected to how Gregor’s room was in the Metamorphosis. Loneliness and isolation are seen more than ever now in modern times, due to the drastic effects of COVID-19.

As an insight, I have learned that feral children should be taken into consideration, especially when they had terrible experiences. Despite these developments were greatly affected, it is never too late to learn again about the world around them. And most importantly, if I were a parent, who is a primary conditioner of a child, I must treat my child with utmost care, in order for her path not to be broken as a result of
