After putting in consideration the value of each given poem that was read by various people of various backgrounds I decided to analysis the one that I can relate to the most as a minority and most importantly a human being. I gladly present the poem, It's Never Over by Kaleb Prempeh. The poem brings great value not only to enjoy but to witness on a social and economic level. Most if not all people can relate to this poem whether you come from the richest family of them all to the poorest family of all as humans we all encounter problems like no other because we are different whether we like it or not. Anyway, the way I will be analyzing the poem today is with SOAPSTone which is an acronym for Speaker, Occasion, Audience, Purpose, Subject, and last but not least tone. Countless people from all corners of the U.S spoke out to receive justice in the system that was made for only white males to succeed. They and many others found this as a flow so they were determined to be respected not only as a human being but a citizen of the United States Of America. Some key factors that led me to believe that the civil rights movement was the occasion are included in the following sentences: 1. He said he was inspired by the Civil Rights movement as he bravely walked on stage. 2. "Although they may lock you up, strip you of your dignity, utterly destroy your faith and hope, and constantly put you down. Know that it’s not the end.". Finally, "The persecution may never stop, however, no physical restrictions can trap your mind." The previous quotes showcased separate events that occurred in the Civil Rights movement. The individual that continued to appear in my mind is Dr. Martin Luther King due to his involvement in such
