He stopped turning in his assignments on time, and his grades were going down. He was procrastinating, and the deadlines for the assignment were strict. The author mentioned, college professor should stop penalizing student for submitting work late. I agree that students shouldn’t be penalized. As the author mentioned in the article, “ pressure of perfection’’ can have tragic consequences. According to the article suicide rates for 15 to 24 years old have risen, and suicide remains the second leading cause of death for college students. I kind of agree to this. Of Course, pressure on college students can be tragic but I don’t seem to agree why would students commit suicide. I agree to the fact that in America most people are not educated. They don’t realize “the key to success is education.” Education is highly important for better jobs. I personally think that education is really important for everyone to survive in this country. The college professor changed his late assignment policy in his class. According to the professor, the results have been amazing, seeing higher quality work, less anxiety, and fewer cases of burnout. He gave his student two day grace period, so the student don’t stress out. The student in his class had returned and had focussed in class and turning all the assignment on time.
