Hunt financials, I can see that the company is headed in the right direction. J. B. full year revenue was $7.2 billion for year ending Dec. 31, 2017 compared to $6.55 billion in year ending Dec. 31, 2016. That is a growth of 9.67%. That highlight itself is typical return which will show investors that the company is doing something right. The fourth quarter revenue increased by 15.71% from Q4 2016 to Q4 2017. J. B. Hunt cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities more than doubled in 2017 than the previous year. The cash on hand was $14.6 billion for year ended 2017 compared to $6.37 billion for year ended 2016. For the first time in company history, Walmart generated over $500 billion in revenue for year ending 2017, an increase of 3% from 2016. Walmart Q4 2017 revenue was $136 billion compared to Q4 2016 where they earned $130 billion revenue, an increase of 5%. eCommerce sales at Walmart U.S. increased 44% during the year. I am optimistic that Walmart will continue to find ways to generate revenue and stay atop the retail industry. They have introduced new services such as ordering groceries online and pick them up at the store, receive free 2-day shipping when you order online and have your item sent to the store, and they are price matching items that competitors offer at a lower price. These services are the kind of deals that consumers look for because it saves them time and money, as result, Walmart revenue will continue to increase.
