Sit and look at the person to your left and right and look at them and see if you can see their American dream on what their style is, what kind of shoes they have on or even the color of their skin. Everyone is different and has a different definition on what the American dream is. Now for me let me tell you my American dream spill.
People from all different places of the world come to America to have the perfect life for freedom, liberty, prosperity, through hard work and dedication. The perfect land for equal opportunities for everyone would be the American dream. During the time of JFK’s presidency it was a very different definition of would it was before and how people think it is now. There’s not much of the American dreams these days. During JFK’s time the American dream was all about having a perfect life and family. There was always a stay at home mom and the dad would provide to where they had no worries about money or things in that nature. Having a job, car and phone would make you happy speaking for the generation I live in today. The American dream now would be having millions of dollars, having cars, a huge house and all the girls and guys you want. So don’t forget that money isn’t the key of life. Hard-work, and striving for yourself to do something better with your life is key. The American dream has transformed in 50 years that having a family and doing decent through life supporting a family and putting food on the table isn’t what we consider the American dream anymore. People rather party, waist money and buy expensive things to look better than the next
