To begin, I am motivated to join JSA’s cabinet because it is a new club at NBTHS. I would personally like to be a part of something that can change the future of NBTHS, and JSA is the perfect opportunity for me to do that. I could be a standard member of JSA, however, being a cabinet member is far more appealing as it allows me to be at the forefront of club activities. After my high school years, I want to be able to come back to NBTHS and feel as if I made a difference, and by contributing my talents towards a brand-new club; I know I can make that difference. Secondly, I am fit for the position of secretary because I can be a very strong asset to JSA. By overlooking events, keeping the members updated through a Remind and Facebook page, and working as the right-hand-man for the President(s) and, by aiding him in his duties; I can contribute to the club immensely. Though I have never held a cabinet position in any school clubs; I have been in charge for many BAPS religious activities. From debating with my parents about whether or not I can get a dog to debating about more important issues such as abortion, death penalties, female presidents, etc., debating is a part of me. An important debatable topic I would like to discuss is abortion.
