Introduction Most people knew from the start that the Jackson 5 brothers would become stars in rock and roll. The Jackson 5 were the first black group to be playing music. They took over communities with their music to become famous. The Jackson 5 were the first African American group to have a huge fan base around there area, to be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame, and there one of the best groups to make music in the 20th century.
Jackson 5 childhood Brothers Michael, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon Jackson were all raised in Gary, Indiana (USA). As a young age there mom and dad helped them play the music. There dad played the electric guitar and mom helped do the singing. There music career was inspired by James Brown. Suzanne de passe was the full discovery of the Jackson 5 (Hammer & Wynter, 2011). Diana Ross was given full credit for presenting the Jackson 5 brothers (Larkin, 2002). Marlon and Michael Jackson did not join Jackson 5 until 1964. In 1964 The Jackson 5 was then official. They had famous songs like ( “I want you back” that blew up in communities. They also had some television success. They were on “The Carol Burnett show” and a show called “Soul Train”. The Jackson 5 had a huge fan base when they wrote their own songs and were on television shows. Along with there television success they were on a television special “ goin back to Indiana’’. Which blew up pretty fast. The Jacksons moved to L.A. for their career to live with Berry Gordy or Diana Ross to invest in their music life. When the Jackson 5 released their first four singles that blew up, they knew that was a good way to start off their music career.
