In the world of art, there are many different cultures. All of these cultures identify with different objects, paintings, or sculptures. The image that I picked from the Culture Institute on google is a image from the culture Jama-Coaque. It is called the Shaman’s Table and was within the time periods of 500 B.C.- 1530. The medium that is used to make this object is clay. It is a 3 dimensional shape and has a form that would fill the space of a small corner in an area. It has a circular shape on the top of the object with a ring of many details on the side of the circle. The lines are very bold and large, they cover half of the figures upper body. The lines on the figures have a great amount of detail in the lines. Some lines have deep incisions in them. They are shaped into an outfit on the figure. They have a crown on their head that is upward round in the front with curved lines with another big bold curved line on top with a space in between. On top of that is thick lines above and around the space of where the lines are placed.There are small details of dots in the faces of the figures on each side, that continue under the nose that is shaped in a thick square with a curved line to support it. The mouth is shaped into a bold oval and the eyes are shaped into a half upward oval with a bold ring around the eyes. As for below the neck there are continuous tiny squares made up into a thick necklace.Below the necklace are lines shaped into a rectangle shape with a line down the middle of them all along the chest area, with a huge one right in the middle touching the necklace. Along with going down the middle are these tiny squares going in a vertical direction touching with three dense lines on each side folding. The hands lie in between the chest and the waist area, around the hands are thick bracelets similar to the necklace.
