The last of Mohicans is a novel written by James Fennimore cooper that talks about the French and Indian war and shows us what happen in our American history. The last of Mohicans was a great novel which mainly talked about the French and Indian war and involved the last of the Mohican tribes. The French and Indian war was like the World War l, well similar you could say because it was a lot of blood just for something that is seems weird or out silly if you really think about. It was an ugly war which many lost their lives just for land and territory. The French really should of over thought about the situation, they put them self’s in before the war started since the war was on American territory. Many of the historical acts in the novel exist in real life like the fights, weapons. They talked about the places they stayed the houses they used actually existing. Many of the historical things they talked about the novel was really accurate. Fort William Henry was one of the accurate assumptions. In the novel the British and the French were at war and the French did attack the British fort. The British were forced to surrender and put up the white flag with the Indians allies of the French were angry and attacked the British after they left the fort so the Indians went after them killing many of the British. …show more content…
