James Madison wrote the 10 Amendments to the Constitution and Bill Of Rights in response to several states asking for protection and liberty rights for individuals. The Bill Of Rights And 10 Amendments lists specific prohibitions on government power and policies. Prohibition started in the United States in 1920. Prohibition was a nationwide ban on Alcohol, Transportation, Importation and also production until 1933.(www.biography/people/James-Madison-939). Madison was born on March 16, 1751, in Port Conway, Virginia. Before writing the10 Amendments, or Bill Of Rights James Madison wrote different drafts for the U.S Constitution Co-Writers and Federalist Papers. He also sponsored The Bill Of Rights.
James Madison had 12 Siblings, his father was a successful man in the Plantation Industry, he owned over 3,000 acres of land and also owned dozens of slaves. His mother was never mentioned in his childhood. (www.Biography/people/James-Madison-939) As Madison was growing up his dad sent him to a boarding school, he even provided tutoring. In 1776 in Virginia he met Thomas Jefferson at a Convention Center, where they both became very good friends. Codependently Madison became president in 1808 right after his very good friend Thomas Jefferson. Before becoming president James Madison wrote drafts for individual freedoms and other sources. I believe Madison was a good influence and example setting goals for himself and accomplishing them. Some accomplishments were graduating from Princeton University, but a major accomplishment was becoming president of the United States in 1808.
