The King of Basketball Everyone has his or her favorite player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). There are so many players that one person can choose from even if the player is a legend. Each player has his or her own unique talent. One of the most talented player ever besides Michael Jordan is LeBron James. LeBron Raymore James was born in Akron, Ohio on December 30, 1984. He was born to his parents Gloria James and Anthony McClelland. When LeBron was in the ninth grade he started attending St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, which is a private Catholic school. In less than five years playing with Cleveland, LeBron led his team to the NBA Finals. When he first started playing for the Cavaliers "Cleveland viewed him as a savior for a franchise" ("LeBron James"). Since LeBron did not go to college and play basketball he did not have the experience other players had, however he still had a good mindset like the other players.
