“I wish, as well as everybody else, to be perfectly happy; but, like everybody else, it must be in my own way” - Jane Austen Jane Austen started out as a young writer. She absolutely loved the idea of writing. And then she finally became known as a famous novelist. One of her most well known novels she wrote is Pride and Prejudice. Jane Austen went through many ordinary struggles during her writing journey.

Jane Austen was born during the time when education for women was way more expensive than education for men and Jane’s family and her went through tough times during the time she went to school. In 1783, troops returning have brought a disease with them that was infectious. Jane Austen, her cousin, and her sister all got the disease. They soon got back to good health. Later on, a man named Thomas Lea had a bad review for the school Jane was at. So Jane got pulled out of the school because it had a bad rating and her father decided the school was a horrible waste of their money. Also, since the …show more content…

During the last eight years of her life she still lived in Chawton. She suddenly got an illness that might have been Addison’s disease. This illness has caused Jane to stop writing once again. She was in the middle of working on her latest novel at the time, Sandition. Jane had finally died in 1817. After she had died many people had began to admire her a lot. Her reputation rose up so high and she began to get many more admires. Her admirers were known as, “Janeites.” It was pretty much what her fan base was called. More of the public has getting more into Jane Austen. They liked her, her ideas, and her novels so much they began to make movies, sequels to her novels and etc. After all, Jane Austen has left a legacy behind after she had died. Hard Work takes time to be noticed, so don’t worry just keep on working as hard as you possibly can. One day it will pay off like Jane Austen’s hard
