Jane is at her new school and is talking to one of the other girls who had also transferred from some place else, the girls are talking about a teacher who Jane thinks the other girl, should not particularly like. Jane’s point of view of the teacher is similar to one of a rebellious teenager, who believed that her teacher striking kids with a rod made her a reprobate person. This attitude is similar to a teenagers’ attitude towards their parents, for example, when the parent reproaches the teenager, the teen believes in that instance that the parent is evil.
