Growing up in a household where addiction was present, Jeff Holland had the desire to “fix” his father but there wasn’t much he could do because he was only a child. His father had a problem with alcohol and that’s what eventually killed him at a young age. Jeff tried drugs when he was nine-years-old and he continued to as an adult. Although he doesn’t use drugs anymore, his brother and sister continue to struggle with addiction. Jeff was drawn to the helping profession because of his personal experience with addiction and the constant exposure of seeing his family struggle.
