Introduction Worldwide Jeffery Dahmer was acknowledged as a brutal horrific killer. These murders were caused by many issues that he had, including: his childhood, cannibalism, manipulation, and attachment issues. Between 1978 and 1991 Jeffery was committing killings around his home in the Oxford Apartment block considered the black community. “When arrested FBI found seven human skulls, two human hearts, a bag of organs, and numerous severed body parts were among the atrocities they uncovered at the home where he killed 12 of his victims” (Caitlin Hornik, 2022, p.1). Dahmer was finally arrested on July 22, 1991…two years later, Dahmer was killed at the age of 34 by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver (Jeffrey Dahmer Murdered in Prison, 2010). Investigators question today why Jeffery committed the scarring crimes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Jeffery had then caught an obsession with the way organs felt inside his bare hands. Then became a habit for Jeffery and his father to search for road kill. According to Lloyd, “He was described as ‘an energetic and happy child’ until the age of four, when he underwent surgery for a double hernia on his groin” (Lloyd, 2022, p.1). Researchers question if the surgery reflected Jeffery’s choice of cannabis. “Between 1987 and 1991, Jeffrey Dahmer was responsible for the murders of 15 Black, Indigenous, Asian, and Latino men and boys in Wisconsin”(King-Carroll, 2022, p.1). Jeffery seemed target the heart of his victims. “Tracy Edwards, Dahmer's last intended victim, even told police upon his escape that Dahmer intended to consume his heart”(King-Carroll, 2022, p.1). After Dahmers arrest, he admitted to eat many hearts and other body
