Jeffrey Dahmer, an American serial killer and sex offender, was born on May 21, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Joyce Annette and Lionel Herbert Dahmer. (APPOSITIVE) From a young age Dahmer had always been described as happy and energetic, however after the birth of his younger brother, a surgery to repair a double hernia, and his family moving to Ohio because his father received a job opportunity, he became increasingly withdrawn. His father being completely fed up once again kicked him out and he was sent to live with his grandmother back in Wisconsin. He was able to keep out of trouble for 5 years. This streak was broken though when he was caught masturbating in front of two young boys at a fair and was giver only a year of probation. 7 years after moving in with is grandma, she kicked him out after growing tired of the long nights and drunkenness. Having nowhere else to go Dahmer got his own apartment, increasing the amount of freedom he ultimately had. This is where he was allowed to leave jail during the day time, but had to return back every night. Despite his sentencing Dahmer was released after only 10
