Jeffrey Dahmer has become a household name. Dahmer was a serial killer, famously known as the “Milwaukee Cannibal”, he murdered seventeen victims, with his crimes ranging from 1978-1991. Dahmer is known for targeting boys and men, dismembering them, and sometimes eating his victims. There are multiple movies, books, and tv shows about Dahmer and his psychopathic behaviors. Dahmer exhibited many types of psychopathic behavior during the span of his crimes. He took a boy back home and when the boy tried to leave, Dahmer sexually abused and murdered him. Dahmer reported that he felt he felt aroused, upset, and restless after. He liked the feeling of being in control and his nervousness and restlessness disappeared the more homicides he committed. His first act of homicide was sudden and impulsive, the rest of his murders were not. Dahmer would lure young boys back to his home and give them alcohol with sleeping pills. After his victims were unconscious, Dahmer would attempt to turn them into zombies by drilling a hole into their brains and injecting them with acid. Dahmer tried this multiple times, but every attempt failed and he ended up murdering them all. His reasoning for attempting to turn them into zombies was that he wanted to have total control over his victims. It is believed that Dahmer sought companionship and control with his victims because he had a lack of it in his childhood. Dahmer was arrested in July 1991 and openly spoke about his crimes to the police.
