The Incident On June 18, 1978, Jeffrey Dahmer picked up and murdered 19-year-old hitchhiker Steven Hicks. Dahmer picked up Hicks from the side of the road and then took him back to his parents house using alcohol to lure him there. While there, Jeffrey and Steven drank and had sex with each other. Afterwards, Hicks wanted to go home so he attempted to leave but Jeffrey didn't want him to, he wanted the hitchhiker to stay there with him. To prevent Hicks from escaping, Dahmer struck Steven over the head with a bar bell which resulted in the death of the hitchhiker. Dahmer would also experiment with these people by practicing crude lobotomies using drills and acid injections to extend his control over them. Most of them died instantly but there was one, a young Asian boy, who survived for a few days in a zombie like state and actually ended up escaping. The police were called because someone saw the boy running around naked and frightened but Dahmer got lucky. He told the officers that the boy was his boyfriend who had drunk way too much. The police shockingly believed him and escorted the two of them back to Dahmer’s with no consequences. Dahmer didn't stay lucky for long. An African American man was seen walking the streets with a pair of handcuffs attached to one of his wrists. When the cops questioned him he told them he was attacked and drugged by a weird guy and then led the police to his house. It only took a brief look around his house until they found the photos he took of his dead victim’s bodies and they arrested him immediately. Dahmer went on trial and was found guilty for all the terrible murders he committed. He was declared sane and was sentenced to fifteen life terms in prison. While there, Dahmer was made to work with two other prisoners. Twenty minutes after being left alone, the guards returned to see Jeffrey Dahmer dead on the floor along with one of the other prisoners. When he was on trial it was stated that he was completely sane because he knew what he was doing was wrong but there had to be something wrong going on in his head for him to do what he did. No normal sane person grows up to do what Dahmer did. He started to change as a child due to his family, dramatic childhood experiences, hormonal changes and confusion with his sexuality and formed a strange obsession with dead things.
