Imagine a young woman whose parents did not approve her career dream. This was the life of Jennifer Lopez. It would be really hard to have one’s parents against what one love. Jennifer Lopez is a strong, passionate, hard-working woman who was up for a challenge. During the mid-1970s, many Latinos were not always looked the same as other individuals, but Jennifer Lopez changed this problem (“Jennifer Lopez”, Newsmaker). Jennifer Lopez demonstrated that one can accomplish anything if they work hard. Jennifer Lopez is a famous actress, dancer, singer, fashion designer, and movie star who changed the way we look on women’s entertainment. She started at age five, and still continues today at age 47. Her first opportunity as a professional dancer was to be a ‘Fly Girl’ on the comedy show, ‘In Living Color’. Jennifer Lopez was on the show for three-four seasons for a dance group (“Jennifer Lopez”, Newsmaker). Later on, she got an offer from Janet Jackson, a famous singer. Janet Jackson asked her on a tour to be a backup dancer. Lopez was a backup dancer for her song ¨That’s the Way Love Goes” video. After, Jennifer Lopez chose to leave the tour because she wanted to do her own thing (Heyman, Jessie). Jennifer Lopez is very successful and decided to move towards the actress industry (“Jennifer Lopez”, Newsmaker). Jennifer Lopez quoted as saying, “I was always a singer and a dancer, and I always wanted to be an actress. For me, it’s all just one thing.” (“Jennifer Lopez Quotes”). Lopez was offered a job to act as the lead role for Selena Quintanilla Perez. Selena was very famous for her music, but sadly was murdered at a young age by Yolanda Saldívar. Jennifer Lopez was the perfect person for the job because she is a beautiful person inside and out. Lopez had to use Selena’s voice for the part, but still was inspired to sing (“Jennifer Lopez
