On January 2nd, 2018, Jerry Smalls went missing. His wife called in later that night to report he never returned home from work. He was first kidnapped then murdered. Being struck on the head with a hammer, he bled all over himself, the hammer, and the kidnapper’s t-shirt. There was also a ransom note that was found. The note said that if the Small’s family wanted Jerry back anytime soon, they would need to follow the specific directions stated. It asked for very detailed directions to hide the one-million dollars. Like what kind of bags and the location of where to put the bag. This trial will be a great lead on which suspect it is. The detectives have gathered every suspect’s left and right fingerprints. Mrs. Peacocks thumb and middle finger waa printed at the scene. Matched by a whorl and a loop. Mr. Green’s index and ring finger were left at the scene. Matched by two whorls. Every fingerprint was the right hand except for the thumb of Mrs. Peacock. These two suspects are getting very suspicious. Detectives and investigators went straight into matching the blood at the crime scene. The crime scene had blood of the victim and one other mystery blood that was not the same a Mr. Smalls. The scientists dealing with blood types figured there was only one other person’s blood at the scene, but Mrs. Peacock and Mr. Green had the same blood type. The crime scene blood matched up with Mrs. Peacock AND Mr. Green therefor it could be either one or both! The detectives took pens from all the suspects because there was a so called ransom note left behind. The letters were large a drawn by a thin marker/pen. They tested all of the pens/markers and soon realized that Mr. Green’s thin marker was the ransom note writing utensil. The investigators knew this because it changed a blue and pink when tested for the same ink as the one on the ransom
