A colossal, towering wall of it, shrouding the stars in a shadowy veil of ebony rock-hard steel. Jessica’s heart stopped, her eyes widened, and her mouth hung wide open. Just seconds prior, Jessica sat, perched on the bow of her precious pink yacht, taking in the breathtaking view of the sun, setting on the glassy, silver waters of the sea. A Deer in the Headlights
Suddenly, she became aware of the enormous crowd surrounding her. A flushed and wide-eyed Jessica stood on her yacht, embarrassed. At the moment, Jessica’s heart dropped to her stomach, while witnesses doubted her responsibility. Yet somehow, amidst a wave of negative comments and thoughts, her cowered stance turned into a proud and conquering pose, that screamed: “That’s right, I just survived a collision with a 16,000-ton cargo ship.” She overcame her obstacle, lifting her head high while she brushed herself off.

With her self-confidence and perseverance, Jessica became a role model and a source of inspiration to aspiring sailors and teenagers everywhere, proving that youth can accomplish great achievements.
