This year, I have continued to achieve academic excellence inside the classroom while continuing to be a leader in the St. Paul’s community. For the first semester, I have earned four A’s and three B’s in the full International Baccalaureate Program (my school will be sending my updated transcript). This winter, I earned the role of the captain of my varsity basketball team. I am a leader on the court and try to set an example for my teammates of how important it is to work hard in all aspects of life.

This year has been the third year of the Jewish Awareness Club at St. Paul’s, which I founded in my sophomore year. As President of the club, I tripled the enrollment of the club from 5 members to 15 this year. The Club has been instilled in the St. Paul’s community and has prospered in events over the course of three years. The club’s semi-annual bagel sale to benefit charitable organizations, and the opportunity for Jewish students to unite at an Episcopalian school, will surely continue after I graduate. I am proud to have founded the Club. This is an example of how my passion has led me to take initiative and leadership roles to make my school a better place for all.
