Jim Henson was the best person to have ever lived on this planet. He was basically a god without the wings. If you ever watched The Muppets, or Sesame Street i’m sure you can completely agree with me. Jim Henson was a Master puppeteer, cartoonist, artist, and Inventor. In Jim henson's was born on September 24, 1936, in Greenville, Mississippi. At a young age, Henson was drawn to the arts. His grandmother, a painter, quilter and needleworker, encouraged his creative passions, including his puppetry. So he gathered all of his best puppets and got an interview with PBS. and began the creation of his original idea Sesame Street. During the creation of sesame street he had to the ideas for Big Bird, Cookie Monster….which no thanks to Michelle obama in the further years down the road changed him into the “veggie monster”. which i believe would make Jim Henson toss and turn in his grave...But back to the important stuff. Jim henson had created himself with the help of his “Jim Henson crew” and made Big Bird with dyed turkey feathers and cookie monsters with dyed fake fur and thing like that including fake eyeballs and things like that. After some time hiring actors and puppeteers to play as the awesome characters such as elmo who eventually became so big he had his own mini show and toy products such as...tickle me elmo. You know just toys that the government can put in our houses to watch us? But lets just say that's not what they're. Jim henson also created Bert and Ernie who also got their own mini show. I have no idea why or how but they did and it was and or is probably the best show ever to exist...like way better then F.R.I.E.N.D.S and all that other late night crap. Ever since i was a little kid i enjoyed Jim Henson's work even before i knew what i was watching. Id look up at the screen seeing all of my favorite silly characters including gonzo who was the biggest daredevil who had a loving relationship with a chicken… As weird as it sounds i loved him because his goal was just to be the best and find his place in the world. Especially in the movie “Muppets in Space” where gonzo the main character and discovers that he is actually an alien and in the process of trying to find his place in the world discovers that his place was right where he was with his friends… a movie like this even tho made of a cast of puppets and people had a great message the only Jim Henson himself could have written. So if that isn't proof enough that a man like Jim is selfless and wants nothing but peace to the world i don't know what is.
