Johannes Kepler was a German mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer. He went to the University of Ubingen to originally become a Lutheran minister but his deep interest in astrology made him change his views. In 1589 Kepler finished grammar and Latin school. He then attended the University of Tubingen when he was given a position to become a professor of Mathematics at Graz in 1593. It was there at the Protestant school of Graz where he had ideas about the structure of the universe. He discovered a few theories and placed them all in his first astronomical work called Mysterium Cosmographicum in 1596. After writing Mysterium, he planned out his next four publications.
