On October 31, 1517 a doctorate holding professor/monk named Martin Luther nailed a list of 95 theses to the door of Wittenberg Church, which would in turn radically changing Christianity forever. Among the countless numbers that Luther has influenced there was one individual a young law student at the University of Orléans in 1530, John Calvin, who is recognized as one of the most if not the most important individual in the Protestant break from the Catholic Church. What events lead to Calvin becoming part of this radical religious movement and what contributions did he add to its theology. Calvin was born on July 10, 1509, in Noyon, France.
