The richest of the rich John d. Rockefeller is the richest man in the history of the world ever is worth just about “$392 billion in 2016 dollars, inflation-adjusted, according to Forbes”. John d. Rockefeller was born in the town of Richford, New York and then made billion out of one company located in Cleveland, Ohio, and that was renamed as Stander Oil. Stander Oil which was originally called Cleveland oil refinery, and which was started when John d. Rockefeller was only twenty-four years’ old six years after he got out of high school. Rockefeller was a devout legend, he was one of the three titans which include Rockefeller, Carnegie, and one other member. John D. Rockefeller retired from the daily operations of running one of the world’s largest businesses in eighteen ninety-five, when John D. Rockefeller was 56 years old, John D. Rockefeller kept himself busy with charitable events, becoming one of the more respected philanthropists in history. His money helped pay for the University of Chicago in eighteen ninety-two, to which John D. Rockefeller gave more than $80 million before his death. John D. Rockefeller also gave money to found the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research that was later renamed as Rockefeller University in New York and the Rockefeller Foundation was another organization that John d. Rockefeller helped created. In total he gave away more than $530 million to various causes and service centers. Rockefeller was very Inspired by his in fellow Gilded Age business man Andrew Carnegie who was born in eighteen thirty-five and died in nineteen nineteen whom was also a part of the titans and Andrew himself was in the big business of the steel industry, whom made a very vast fortune in the steel industry and then became a philanthropist and gave away the bulk of his money with inspired Rockefeller to donated money.
