John Fitzgerald Kennedy is known all over the country by the abbreviations of his name JFK. JFK was a well respected commander while he was in the Navy but his father suggested to look into politics. John Fitzgerald Kennedy became the youngest elected president at the age of 43. Kennedy accomplished great achievements during his Presidency that earned the respect of countless Americans across the country. The Kennedy’s spent most of their summer time in their Hyannis Port retreat playing games of family touch football. Joseph and Rose Kennedy believed the football game was just another way to help encourage their children to have a physical approach towards politics.. The competition helped prepare John F. Kennedy was going to become a teacher or a writer until Joseph Kennedy Sr. talked him into running for Congress for the State of Massachusetts. Joseph Kennedy Sr. was originally going to have Joseph Kennedy Jr. run for congress but he was killed while in the Navy. John F.
