Assassin Lee Harvey Oswald had positioned himself for the shooting of JFK at the Texas School Book Depository from the six floor window. Today it is a museum dedicated to JFK’s assassination. John F. Kennedy was the 35th president who was assassinated in Dallas Texas. After the shooting JFK was pronounced dead 30 minutes later at Parkland Hospital. The mystery behind JFK can be summed up in two theories: Lee Harvey Oswald killed him and The Mafia killed JFK.
The murder of JFK still remains one of America’s greatest mysteries. Many of the president’s close associates warned Kennedy not go to Dallas because of possible violence( Domina Thurston). In addition, before the president left for Dallas the route was chosen carefully so everyone could see him pass through Dallas (Kennedy assassinated). President Kennedy was about to take the last portion of his trip, “As the president's car prepared to enter the expressway for the last portion of the trip, at least three shots were fired. Kennedy was shot in the neck and head”( Domina Thurston). Finally, the most important piece of the JFK story is when did he die, November 22, 1963 was the day president JFK was shot in the Dallas parade (Kennedy is assassinated).
