Kennedy did not live a long life, but his contributions to America and the world make him MVP worthy. During the fall in 1941, Kennedy enlisted in the Navy, and 2 years later he was sent to the South Pacific. There, he was given control of the boat PT-109. Shortly after becoming the commander of this boat, he along with fifteen other PT boats were sent to bomb Japanese ships.
