John Green

John Michael Green was born on August 24, 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a YouTube "vlogger", and so is his brother, Hank Green. Their YouTube channel, Vlogbrothers, has more than 2,500,000 subscribers as of May 2015. Maybe more eminently, John is additionally an author. His latest book, The Fault in Our Stars, which was published in 2012, was made into a film in 2014. John and wife Sarah have two children together, a child named Henry, and a little girl named Alice. The family lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. Both Hank and John Green began a yearly YouTube gathering called "Vidcon" in 2010. John Green attended Indian spring school, and also went to Kenyon college. In 2014 John Green was included in Time magazines 100 most influential people. Most of his work was nominated as the best selling novels. John Green is a well known writer, who is ardent about people. His kind of stories allows us to connect with the feelings he’s trying to interpret. While reading his stories you feel inspired to start writing. The author was inspired to write Looking for Alaska, by his experiences at his childhood high school, Indian spring school. From John Greens own words “writing is a profession that requires a long apprenticeship of reading and practice.” Most of John Green’s writing is profoundly deep and holds great meaning behind them. His work is mostly accessible for teenagers, since most of his stories talk about teenage love, and relate to their teenage life.
