Will Rogers was a unique man in his age, starting on working in the wild west but then slowly moving into broadway after his rope tricks got old. Starting out learning most of his roping tricks from his father on their ranch. Roger's soon got tired of the boring everyday lifestyle that he was having and moved onto the traveling wild west show, leaving home when he was just a teenager.

The movie was released in October of 2004 and is based on the small town of Odessa, Texas and their high school football team, Permian, in the year 1988. The movie was based on a book written by H.G. Bissinger who followed the football team throughout the 1988 football season. Not only does the movie focus on the football side of the town and players but also other factors that were heavily involved in the actual story such as poverty, segregation, and racism.

Ansky and Henryk Szaro), two fathers make a vow to marry their unborn children if one had a daughter and the other a son against the advisement of the rabbi and the prophet. Both films represent the Jewish culture before World War 2. At this time, Jewish towns were apprehensive about embracing new trends and movements. The town issues severe repercussions as a consequence of the men not following through with their vows. However, love proves superior to tradition and emphasizes a clash between the traditional and the modern.
On March 17, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, John Wayne Gacy, Jr. was born to John Wayne Gacy, Sr. and Marion Elaine Robinson as the second of three children. Gacy was very close to his mother and sisters as a child, but had a very troubled relationship with his alcoholic father because he was abusive. He was struck in the head when he was 11, forming a blood clot that caused him to suffer blackouts beginning when he was 16. Other than the issues with his father and the blood clot, John Wayne Gacy lived a seemingly normal childhood. He attended four high schools in four years, eventually dropping out and moving to Las Vegas.

The film 13th directed by Ava DuVernay targets an intended audience of the Media and the three branches of the United States government with an emphasis that mass incarceration is an extension of slavery. It is intended to inform viewers about the criminalization of African Americans and the United States prison boom. 13th uses rhetorical devices in its claim to persuade the viewers by using exemplum in the opening seconds of the film. President Barack Obama presents statistics, saying “the United States is home to 5% of the world’s population but is home to 25% of the world’s prisoners.” Also the film uses a hyperbole in talking about the movie Birth of a Nation produced in 1915 which portrays a black man as a violent savage who will kill white women.

His father was a drunk and repeatedly beat his siblings and him with a razor strap and was said to have physically assaulted his mother too. American novelist, poet, and playwright Langston Hughes was born in Joplin Missouri in February 1902. Soon after he was born, his parents separated, and his father moved away to Mexico. He was raised by his maternal grandmother, until her death. After she died, he began to write poetry and Walt Whitman and Carl Sandburg were major early influences in his work. After he graduated from high school in 1920 Hughes spent the next year with his father in Mexico.

Wes Anderson is a very well-known and established director in his field. Over the years, Anderson has developed a unique style of film and a basic formula for how each film will look in the end. The film The Grand Budapest Hotel showcases a lot of Anderson quirks from the vibrant colors to the tiny miniatures that he used to show the landscape. The Grand Budapest Hotel is uniquely Wes Andersons and really showcases his style.
