Have you ever read the book The Crucible well in the novel there is a guy name John Proctor is tormented individual and he dies for his beliefs. He believes his affair with Abigail Williams damaged him in the eyes of god his wife Elizabeth and himself. John describes himself as a “ sinner” because he has cheated of his wife. Now that you know a little bit about John Proctor. I will be writing about Proctor's decision to destroy his confession In the novel The Crucible written by: Arthur Miller.
A few reasons for John Proctor's decision to destroy his confession is because he goes through a transformation of character, retrieving his dignity back from the scandal of his adulterous affair with Abigail. More than that, he is renewed in his faith,
