The main difference between the attempts to control alcohol consumption versus the control of illegal drugs is that many people higher up in the government wanted to have alcohol and they didn’t think it was that dangerous. They think it should be legal for people to drink as long as they drink responsibly. People higher up in the government realise however how much more dangerous illegal drugs are for the people and none want to legalize those drugs. Ford would not be able to grow as fast, have so many stores, and so many new and much improved cars without Henry Ford's change in industry. Ford would probably be developing models that were made in 2000 right now if Henry Ford didn’t make the cars affordable for everyone. If cars were still for rich people, then everything would develop so much slower than it is. Ford has obviously come a long way with making cars more reliable and better.
