A pharmacist named John S. Pemberton created Coca Cola the famous drink known worldwide. Coca Cola hit the markets and is one of the top drinks on the map. It's one of the most popular drinks there is. People love the delicious mouth watering taste of Coca Cola. John Stith Pemberton was born on July 08th, 1831 in Knoxville, Georgia. He studied at a local medical school in Georgia and became a licensed pharmacist at the age of nineteen. He had a wife named Ann Eliza Clifford Lewis who gave birth to their first son in 1853. He also had a successful drug business before he got drafted into to army during the American Civil War. Back then they used to use morphine to lighten up the pain on wounds and injuries. John became addicted to morphine. Since he was a pharmacist he decided he was going to make his own cure for his addiction.
