John Wayne Gacy was prosecuted on multiple accounts of murder, an accounted serial killer and rapist. In the court of law, it does not matter what upbringing a citizen may have faced. No matter what hardship or handicaps an individual faced during their childhood, crime is definite. He was accused of multiple charges with various evidence. Eventually, Gacy had given up and knew his sentence was inevitable. He had an attorney defending him during his first conviction. Given his attorney’s advice, he pleaded guilty to an act of sodomy of a 15-year old boy, and not guilty to other charges by other young males. He then was sentenced to serve 10 years in a prison. During this first conviction Gacy was 27 years old. In defending Gacy during these multiple accounts. There are two main ways to credit his innocence. He was treated unfairly during his first charge. This is also a sexual assault charge, something to be publicly available to anyone, not just the criminal justice system. It was later clarified that Gacy’s father was very abusive towards during his childhood. Accusing Gacy of being “queer” and punished him dramatically for committing curious acts. His father died while John was incarcerated where he broke down in tears. After serving only 18 months in prison he was given parole and sent back to his mother where he could re-establish himself. Quickly over the course of a few years, he was brought back to his mother’s house to live. He then got married to a woman and conceived two children.
