He has sold over 90 million records throughout the world over his 50 year career, with hits like ‘Ring of fire’, ‘one piece at a time’ and ‘I walk the line’, welcome rolling stones chief editor music editor and guests to the annual rolling stones nomination to the music hall of fame ceremony. Every year the rolling stones magazine receives nominations to assign for their hall of fame. I am here to announce that I am going to nominate Johnny cash to be in the hall of fame I am going to summaries Johnny’s’ achievements and successes, his history and back ground and the impact he had on the music industry. Since Johnny cash decided to turn his attention music he is now a well-known artist worldwide, even after his death in 2003. Cash was born the 26th of February 1932 Kingsland Arkansas. After graduating high school in 1950 he joined the U.S Airforce and trained in Texas. While serving in Germany he turned his attention towards music. He formed Langberg Barbarians with some of his air force buddies and they did some live shoes. He wrote his first song ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ in 1953 while serving in Germany. But he later released it in 1955 with suns record company after his discharge in 1954. He settled in Tennessee and got together with a couple of mechanics to form a little band. Cash was bigger than life.
