“The Swing” It was a hot muggy day in Dandelion, Wisconsin, a small town you can barely see on a map that has the population of 238. The town had a small river that everyone would go to when it was extremely hot out. There was one spot where an old wooden bridge had rotted through the middle that everyone would jump through, and right next to it was a rope swing that some people set up over a few giant rocks then a drop off in the water. It was June and school had just gotten out so all the kids were biking to the broken bridge. Although most people in town biked around due to the town being super small there were a few people that drove like James Phillips, and Johnny Napalm even though Johnnys real name is Jonathan Nathan they always drove …show more content…

Johnny was kinda a lone wolf from his peers except James, James was a tall guy that always had the newest stuff and was popular and had a rich family. James only real friend was Johnny because they have been friends since they were kids James looked kinda like Leonardo Dicaprio and Johnny kind looked exactly like Johnny Napalm from guitar hero.

Since they were in such a small town with very little to do but James lived near the huge rope swing at bridge creek and Johnny had nothing to do because his parents and siblings were out of town so Johnny called James to see if he wanted to hang out by the creek. Johnny had to call again because James usually doesn't wake up until 2pm in the summer so it took a few calls to wake him up.
James picks up and says groggily, “Hello?”
“Hey dude want to hang out by the creek?”
James replys with, “Yeah dude just meet me at my house i'll be ready to go when you get here …show more content…

There were 2 or 3 people that James and Johnny didn't know climbing the tree for the rope swing when they got there but as soon as they saw James and Johnny they got down and walked away. They put our towels down and grabbed the rope stick to grab the rope. They were fighting over who would go first and of course James being way bigger then Johnny won so James backed up as far as he could until the rope was firm and not able to move more. James ran up and jumped off the side of the bridge and as he jumped off he heard a loud crack and he felt his body move downward before he let go, he felt his heart rate flutter as fast as a hummingbird and the sharp rocks below never looked worse. James started falling fast and faster as he screamed until he landed and his screams were interrupted from sounds of broken bones, James was dead
