The reason i want to join YearUp is to fulfill my dreams to work in big companies, and be in the technical field because i really love working with computers. I believe that this program can help me get to the point in life where i am able to be comfortable and able to hold my head high knowing that i'm doing good in life. I grew up without a father figure in my life which kind of made me feel like who is going to show me how to be a man so i can be a better man than the man that taught me how to be a man. But later on my life i learned how to be a man by the mistakes i've made. The main reason I want to join YearUp is to help my mom out more and give back to her more than she gave me, I do work with my Uncle to get some money to help out but that's just not enough, but I want more money to give her and to be able to help her out with a lot more things. What I want out of this program is a better learning experience, to better my life, boost my education, and make my mom smile and feel less stressed about what i’m going to do with myself in life. To be honest at first i didn’t think about doing something like this, i had to thank my mother for introducing YearUp to me so that i can find myself. Thinking back to myself i kind of had trouble with getting through school because i would always joke around, so i end up going to an alternative school for my high school years.
