A good vision statement identifies the quality of the project creativity, the originality, and quality of its solutions and ideas. The vision statement should always stretch aspirations and expectation assisting the project leader to jump into comfort zone (Kloppenborg, Shriberg & Venkatraman, 2003). There are various aspects that I have considered when drafting the above vision statement. The vision statement should be inspirational. It is supposed to enthuse, challenge, and inspire. Next, the vision statement should be ambitious. The project should aim at something that is difficult to achieve. Third, there is needed to be realistic and creative. These issues concisely address in the above vision statement for the project. I think it is a fallacy for Terry not to be involved in the decisions made by the people in his group. Sometimes these people do not inform him of the decisions made. I think this is not only a fallacy but an inconsistency in Terry's leadership tactics. At first, Terry, seen as a person who likes to engage everybody and passes in their office or desks to get their different opinion. It is essential for the project manager to assess the decisions made by the team members without him involved. The decisions made may have a negative impact on the project. The project manager will be held responsible for any failures in the project (Laufer, 2012). He is the one to communicate the progress of the project to other external stakeholders.
