On may 3rd 1999 a continuous amount of tornadoes hit Oklahoma. This was called the Oklahoma Tornado Outbreak, Oklahoma got hit by 74 tornadoes in 21 hours!

The Tornado had already ravages parts of Missouri and Illinois, killed and injured multiple people, and was ready to lay carnage to Murphysboro. It was coming for the town, straight on a path to tear it up.
