He was one of the most loved Latin American storytellers of the twentieth century. Jorge Luis impact on the Latin American community continues to influence today's generation. His first wife was Widow Elsa Astete Millan in 1967, who wanted someone to take care of her blind son but sadly their marriage only lasted three years. His other marriage was with his assistant which didn’t last long because he died after they married. Borges innovative literary skills were commendable. He started his career by publishing essays and poems in journals. He became a member of the journal ‘’Prisma”. After years pass Jorge begin to work in a magazine call Sur which was one of the Argentina’s most crucial journals. This magazine gave Borges great opportunity to be recognized and to gain fame. After all Borges kept meeting with important people from Argentina like Adolfo Bioy Casares.
