Many horrors took place during the Holocaust. Families split apart, people ripped from their homes, and precious items stolen, never to be found again. Many people in Germany knew these things were occurring. Sadly there were horrors that took place behind closed doors. Awful experiments were performed by doctors " in the name of science." One of these doctors did many of these awful experiments. His favorite people to do these on were twins. His name, Josef Mengele. Delve deeper into his life by learning about his life before, during, and after the war.
Josef Mengele was born on March 16, 1911 in Gunzberg, Germany. Josef was the eldest son of a prosperous manufacturer of farming implements. The company is still open today. Those who knew Mengele as described as being a very serious student. They also …show more content…
