He was motivated to express his righteous and morally correct ideas after this endurance of opposition and corruption. Pulitzer felt obligated to let society be aware of any wrong doings. He plugged into politics and public affairs using journalism to voice his opinions. Here he reached out and connected with others who shared the same morals and beliefs for support. In time, he also set out to prove just how important professionally educated journalists would be. He believed that the stories they reported would lead the way to national development since they would most likely report the truth (Rose, ed., 2004). These truths that exploit corrupt operations would eventually help improve the nation. Pulitzer was mainly guided and influenced by his own moral compass. He let his feelings guide him.
